Shai can automatically generate images for your storyboard shots. Here’s how to create visuals for your project efficiently.
Step 1: Finalize Your Cast
Before generating images, ensure that all characters in your project are created and saved in the Cast/Character tab.
Step 2: Navigate to the Storyboard Tab
Once your characters are set, go to the Storyboard tab. Here, you will see that Shai has automatically generated a Script-to-Shot breakdown.
Step 3: Choose an Image Generation Method
Option 1: Bulk Image Generation
-
Click on “Generate All Shot Images” to create all storyboard images in one go.
-
This process may take a few seconds to minutes, depending on the number of shots in your storyboard.
-
Note: Free-tier users have a limit of 9 shots maximum.
Option 2: Individual Image Generation
-
If you prefer generating images one at a time, hover over a shot card.
-
Click “Generate” to create an image for that specific shot.
-
You can regenerate images for individual shots by clicking “Generate” again.
Step 4: Reviewing Image History
To see all images that have been generated for a specific shot, go to the Editor. Here, you will find the history of images created for each individual shot, allowing you to review previous versions and select the best one.
