Managing shots in your storyboard is a crucial part of creating the perfect visual narrative. Learn how to add new shots and remove existing ones efficiently in Shai.
Adding New Shots
Adding new shots to your storyboard is simple and intuitive:

Locate the + (plus) icons on either side of any existing shot in your storyboard

Click on the + icon where you want to insert a new shot

A new shot card will be created at that position

You can then customize the new shot with your desired content and settings
Example: Click the highlighted + button between shots to add a new shot
Removing Shots
To remove unwanted shots from your storyboard:

Find the three-dots menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of the shot you want to remove

Click on the three-dots to open the menu

Select “DELETE” from the menu options

Confirm your decision in the confirmation dialog that appears
Example: Click the three-dots menu and select “Delete” to remove a shot
Uploading Custom Images
In addition to managing shots, you can also upload your own images:

Hover over any shot in your storyboard

Look for the “UPLOAD” button that appears

Click the button to open the file selector

Choose your image file from your computer

The uploaded image will replace the existing shot content
Important Notes:

Deleted shots cannot be recovered, so make sure before confirming deletion

You can add as many shots as needed between existing shots

Uploaded images should be in common formats (JPG, PNG, etc.)
